Mrs. Ariel Whiteside To All Instructors
Administrator & Board Member
I’m honored to serve on the Board and as the Administrator of Academy at the Creek. Following a season of prayer and thoughtful planning, a few of us felt led to establish the kind of homeschool experience we longed to see, one rooted in Christ, built on community, and committed to academic support of families. While my own children are still a few years away from starting school, it’s been a blessing to pour into their future and the lives of so many other families. I’m truly thankful for the opportunity to continue serving our co-op and its cultivation of leaders.
I went to the University of Central Florida, earning a bachelor's degree in Event Management and a second in Hospitality Management, equipping me with a passion for serving others through organization and meaningful experiences.
From my sophomore year of high school through junior year of college, I worked for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for six consecutive seasons as an event and volunteer manager for game operations, where I managed and executed the pregame and halftime shows. After college, I joined the Wyndham Grand Hotel on Clearwater Beach as an Event Coordinator and was promoted within my first year to Conference Services Manager. In that role, I oversaw the execution of all hotel event services, from VIP accommodations to high-profile weddings and large-scale conferences of up to 2,000 attendees. After six years in that role, I was offered a senior-level promotion but chose instead to step away from my career to focus on raising my two sons.
I now help run our family’s handyman business and serve alongside my husband, who is a pastor at Creekside Church. I began volunteering with my husband on the worship team and has since taken on leadership roles in the church and support the administrative team. I also help with the women’s ministry and support the development and management of multiple volunteer ministry teams with a focus on leadership and spiritual growth throughout the church.
As the AATC Administrator, I am excited to continue helping equip the next generation of Christian leaders in the community through our local co-op with intentionality and prayer
