I’m honored to serve as the Administrator and Board President of Academy at the Creek, a school born out of a deep calling God placed on my heart years ago. After much prayer and preparation, a group of us stepped forward in faith to create the kind of Christ-centered, community-focused, academically supportive environment we desired for our own children. I’m incredibly grateful to continue serving in this capacity as our school grows and thrives.

All three of my children attend Academy at the Creek, and my husband is one of the pastors at Creekside Church, where our co-op meets. I’ve been homeschooling for eight years and have experienced firsthand how homeschooling allows each child to reach their fullest potential in a way that honors their unique learning styles and pace.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida and have taught in a variety of settings - including Bible studies (for middle school, high school, and adults), American Sign Language classes for adults, and high school science classes. I’ve also had the privilege of working with students who have learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, and auditory processing disorders, as well as supporting both struggling and advanced learners alike.

While I’m no longer teaching in the classroom, I remain deeply committed to fostering a school environment where every student is seen, valued, and encouraged. I’m passionate about supporting both our teachers and parents as we partner together to help students flourish academically, spiritually, and emotionally.

It’s a joy to walk alongside our families and staff as we pursue this adventure in education together.
