Mrs. Christina Littlejohn To All Instructors

I am passionate about mentoring the next generation through a Titus 2 discipleship model. I’m an entrepreneur at heart, but my true joy is helping students uncover their unique, God-given gifts. I teach my students that everyone leads someone and that every life is designed with a divine purpose. I am deeply committed to supporting students with different learning styles and unique capabilities; I am happy to work with you to create a perfect fit for your student in my classroom. When we let peace rule our hearts and work as one body, we create a space where everyone truly belongs!

Looking back, I can see how every step of my journey has been purposefully woven together by God to prepare me for this season at Academy at the Creek. Having taught at a different co-op in Clearwater for the past three years—and as someone new to the area—it is such an honor and a privilege to come alongside the Academy at the Creek community and be a part of this wonderful team of passionate educators who truly love what they do.

From my beauty industry experience, to building businesses, serving in multiple ministries, leading worship, and building community networks, to stepping into a season of what I call "mommy's thinking time"—where God gently paused my entrepreneurial pursuits so I could focus entirely on His Word and pour my heart into my husband and children—every pause had a purpose. At the time, it didn't always make sense. I questioned Him, wondering why He would have me step away from income and helping others when I had financial responsibilities like a car payment, or why He closed the door on doing hair in a salon. But God knew best. He was teaching me to slow down and follow His ways.

Honestly, I never thought I was going to homeschool; I originally just wanted to start my own business again. But through homeschooling my own children, participating in Community Bible Study, American Heritage Girls, and everything in between, God has wonderfully intertwined every piece of my journey. In fact, many of the classes I teach—especially our Lego class and other creative subjects—were directly inspired by my own kids sparking those interests and coming up with fun ideas!

Teaching Philosophy & My Heart for Ministry

I believe every moment is an opportunity for worship! Whether we are diving into hands-on projects, learning about God's creation, practicing non-toxic health and beauty, or studying God's Word, we do it all to make Him known. Even when we explore the lives of missionaries and find creative ways to perform using our unique gifts for His glory, it all points back to Him. My classroom uses an eclectic, project-based approach to keep things exciting and accessible for all types of learners.

I am a lifelong learner. If I don’t have an answer, I will find it! I also love bringing in experts from different fields to visit our class, making our lessons fun and full of real-world discovery. At Academy at the Creek, I get to combine my love for connecting people, supporting local businesses, and fostering creative learning. I especially love helping young minds step into leadership and servant leadership. If your kids have ideas or things they want to bring to my classes, I am all ears and would love to encourage them and help them learn in the way that suits them best, all while having fun doing it.

I also love to take the pressure off parents and make things as simple and easy as possible for your kids to come and learn with me. Life can be overwhelming with all the different tasks, so I want to give you that gift of simplicity so you can focus more on your relationship with God and your family.

To keep our environment excellent, I use my classroom manual, "THE KEY TO TREASURE." We focus on using our words to build each other up, staying safe, and respecting one another. Above all, I want my students to know the joy of an active relationship with God—praying through the good and the bad and living in His Word.

Ministry & Background

My journey is all about serving wherever God plants me. Whether I’m acting as a Children’s Bible Teacher, Master Stylist, Worship Leader, or Entrepreneur, I see every job as a chance for discipleship. I strive daily to live out Colossians 3:12–16, clothing myself in compassion, kindness, and patience. I am especially passionate about restoring the beauty of Biblical womanhood and helping others operate through the lens of Scripture rather than the lens of the world.

I hold fast to the promise of Romans 8:28, knowing that God works all things together for good as He matures us into the image of His Son. Whether I am leading Lego Builders, Girls Just Want to Have Fun Biblically, Mammals Vet Academy, Missionaries, or Bible Journaling, I am committed to witnessing right where God has placed me.

Personal Life & Passions

Outside of the classroom, I am a wife to Jesse and a mother to Vincent and Azalea. Our family stays busy serving our community and growing together at our church.

 * Worship & the Word: I am currently on my sixth journey through the Bible! I am deeply passionate about the sovereignty of God, Bible journaling, and living a life of worship.

 * Creativity & Community: As a stylist and artist, I love music, dance, and bringing people together for fellowship. You’ll often find our family exploring theme parks, relaxing at the beach, or enjoying a day in nature.

My greatest heart's desire is to ensure every student feels completely seen, loved, and accepted, especially those navigating special needs, anxiety, or neurodiversity. Teaching here is an incredible gift where I get to have fun, be a kid alongside the students, and bloom right where He has planted us. Everything we have and everything we do is all for Him—because everything we do is worship to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be all the glory!
