Mrs. Kristy Fry To All Instructors

Hello! My name is Kristy Fry and it is an absolute honor to be a part of what the Lord is doing here at Academy at the Creek.

I am a published youth ministry curriculum writer, an experienced ministry founder and leader, and I have served as a speaker and teacher to middle and high school students in the local church for several years. 

Through all of these beautiful callings, my most treasured roles have been within my family. I’ve been married to my incredible husband Brandon for 15 years and we have two miracle children the Lord provided us, despite all odds. It’s been a sweet gift to be home full time with them the last six years, and now homeschooling my oldest as she’s started school.

The culmination of each of these experiences has developed in me a deep adoration for the gifts of training, discipling, and equipping young hearts and minds. I think the most beautiful aspect of teaching is the ability to witness the unique wiring instilled in each child by their Creator, and to cultivate environments where that can be developed and strengthened for the Glory of God, and for their good.

I’m passionate about the Word of God and how it stands not as a separate block of time to teach - but as the very foundation which informs every subject a student might touch. It’s a joy to bring the realities of scripture all throughout the classroom and to show how mathematics, reading, science, and history all sing His praise.

It’s this approach to learning that provides a space where kids can learn to be tethered to the Lord and His unchanging truth as they navigate the ever-changing world around them.
